The
story we are trying tell is a murderer chasing a student through the school.
Most of the scene the student is running away from the murderer but by the end
of the scene the murderer creeps up behind the student and kills him by hitting
around the head with a rock, which is the murderers signature murder weapon.
We tried to use all of the camera shots/angles
that we were given but some of the camera angles were hard to get in, as it
didn’t go with scene that we were filming. The camera shots that we didn’t get
was a tracking shot and a tilt shot and this were the shots that didn’t fit in
with the scene we were doing.
The shot types and camera angles that we used gave
the scene a bit of mystery because in each shot you didn’t see the murderers
face and we did this as in most thrillers you won’t know who is the murderer is
and so we decided that our film you wouldn’t know who the murderer is even
though in the beginning you see the murderer kill someone. Also for the
murderer we only used point of view, over the shoulder and close up but not at
his face, which gave the murderer mystery and for the student we mostly used
camera shots of the student running and hiding from the murderer which shows
that the victim is scared and fighting for his life. I think most of our
choices were successful but I think we could have improved by making the scene
flow better
